Bill Wilks and Phil Copestake are looking forward to visiting Norway next week, attending the FORCE Cross Border Seminar (25-26th October) and visiting companies.
On Thursday, Phil will be giving a presentation on the Jurassic sequences of the North Sea entitled “Updated Jurassic sequence stratigraphic understanding for the North Sea-cross border exploration implications between Norway and the UK”. The presentation discusses learnings and insights from the comparison of exploration trends between the two countries across the median line. It will be illustrated with material from the recently published Geological Society of London Memoir 59 (Copestake, P. and Partington. M.A. 2023.
