Here at Merlin we want to do our bit for the environment, so over recent months we have been looking at ways to reduce our environmental impact and improve our sustainability in our daily activities.
So far we have committed to:
· Only buying fair trade tea and coffee
· Having glass bottled milk (not plastic)
· Using Ecover cleaning products
· Refilling reusable containers – to reduce our use of single-use plastics
· Fortnightly collection of commercial recycling
· Encouraging staff to recycle as much as possible
In the future we are looking to:
· Buy recycled printer paper
· Buy fruit individually
· Consider the potential of food composting
