Georgina Lockham will be presenting at the ESRI European Energy Resources GIS Conference next week. Her presentation entitled ‘Improving reference materials with GIS’ focuses on how additional value can be extracted from datasets by providing raw data as part of project deliverables, as well as hardcopy maps. The talk uses the IS04/16: The Standard Stratigraphic Nomenclature of Offshore Ireland: An Integrated Lithostratigraphic, Biostratigraphic and Sequence Stratigraphic Framework as a case study and describes how ArcGIS played a vital role in the project.
